Dr. Stewart's Bio
Dr. Duane Stewart is an Ohio licensed veterinarian with 38 years of experience. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1977 from The Ohio State University. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Dr. Stewart’s passion for veterinary medicine started early as he helped his father breed, train, and compete with Field Trial Dogs. Through his hobby and prestige of raising and showing top Weimaraners in the country, he has developed a rapport with breeders across the country. Because of this love, the reproductive services offered here at Fulton Animal Hospital continue to expand yearly.
Dr. Stewart shares his home with his loving wife and their many pets.
Dr. Myers' Bio
Dr. Myers obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Akron in pre-veterinary biology. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 1989. Dr. Myers loves utilizing our diagnostic equipment and is passionate about internal medicine. She lives in Cuyahoga Falls with her husband. They have three children together, along with some cats, a dog, and a turtle. Dr. Myers enjoys watching her children’s sports events and riding roller coasters when she’s not working.
Dr. Cline's Bio
Dr. Cline graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2017. He previously attended The Ohio State University, where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in forestry, fishery, and wildlife. Dr. Cline also has experience treating farm animals! He lives in Wooster with his wife, son, yellow Labrador Retriever, and cat. When he’s not working, he loves being a dad and husband while looking for any excuse to be outdoors. Dr. Cline is passionate about expanding his knowledge in diagnostics and preventative medicine.
Dr. Broughton's Bio
Dr. Broughton grew up in Shelbyville, Kentucky, where, from a young age, she knew that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She followed her dream by first attaining her bachelor’s degree in biology from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. She achieved her goal of becoming a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in May 2019 (degree from The Ohio State University). Dr. Broughton joined the Fulton Animal Hospital team in November 2019. Since beginning her career, she has developed a particular interest in internal medicine (especially cardiology and neurology), soft tissue surgery, geriatric/end-of-life care, behavior, and preventative medicine. Dr. Broughton is passionate about prolonging and improving the human-animal bond and enjoys her relationships with both her clientele and their fur babies. She also loves spending time with her husband, their Norwegian Elkhound (Nina), and their three cats (Bender, Madeline, and Rosie Patches). For her past times, she enjoys playing tennis, hiking, reading, drawing, and cooking.
Kelsey joined our team as the Practice Manager in 2020. She started in the veterinary field as a receptionist and veterinary assistant in 2016 and immediately fell in love with everything about veterinary medicine. She loves learning new things as veterinary medicine evolves continually, and seeing a sick pet get back to its usual self is her favorite thing! As a Canal Fulton resident, getting to work within her community is very important to her. Kelsey is passionate about being there for our clients, their pets, and her team. Outside of work, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, grilling out, or singing karaoke with family and friends. She also loves spoiling her cat, hamster, fish, and two dogs.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Stephanie was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and has been with our hospital since 2007. She graduated from Northcoast Medical Academy in 2007 with her Veterinary Assistant Certification. Stephanie has always had a passion for animal care and loves getting to know our clients and their pets. She enjoys surgery, assisting our veterinarians, and learning new things as our field evolves. Stephanie loves spending time with her fiance, cat, bearded dragon, and two dogs.
April has always had a desire to help people, along with a passion for animals. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from The Ohio State University in 2006. Her dogs are much-loved members of her family. April’s passion for animals led her to a position as a Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant. She is proud to be a part of our patients’ healthcare team.
Angela graduated from Stautzenberger College’s Veterinary Technician program in 2017 and joined our hospital in 2019. She loves dentistry and is also passionate about marine animal rescue/rehabilitation. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, dog, and guinea pigs. Outside of work, her favorite things are anything Halloween and amusement parks.
Jessi has been working in the veterinary field for 14 years and joined our hospital in 2019. She moved here from the Toledo area to be closer to her family. Jessi is passionate about both furry and scaly animals. Outside of work, she enjoys doing yoga and spending time with family and friends. She has two dogs, two cats, one rabbit, three frogs, three newts, one gecko, one snake, and some fish at home.
Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist
April M's Bio
April received her Veterinary Assistant Certification in 2007 and joined our team in 2020. She loves snuggling all the pets that come through our doors, especially the Bulldogs and Boston Terriers. April also enjoys being able to learn new things every day. She’s also a licensed cosmetologist and a certified Zumba instructor. She has two beautiful children, Mason and Madilyn. In her spare time, you can find her at the YMCA, enjoying nature, or with her good friends and family.
Veterinary Assistant / Receptionist
Danielle has been working in the veterinary field since 2011. She is originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Canal Fulton in 2015. Danielle started working for Fulton Animal Hospital in fall 2018. She is in the process of a degree in Business Management and Administration at Kent State. Danielle hopes to graduate in spring 2022. Danielle has always wanted to work with animals because she has a passion for helping them. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Leo and Zeus, and her cat, Uno. Danielle loves treating every animal that comes to our hospital as if they were her own pets.
Madison has been in the veterinary field since 2018 and joined our team in 2020. She loves being around animals every day and especially loves helping those in need. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her three dogs, two cats, and chickens.
Mary Ann's Bio
Mary Ann graduated from The Ohio State University in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in education. Her love of animals and the desire to help others guided her toward the veterinary field. In 2008 she joined the staff at Fulton Animal Hospital, and she takes pride in “educating” owners and bringing joy and humor to the front desk. Mary Ann truly cares about not only our “four-footed” patients but their owners as well. She will go above and beyond to help you feel comfortable and educated you as your pets are under our care. Five adorable French Bulldogs have decided to allow Mary Ann and her husband to share their home.
Nadine has worked for Fulton Animal Hospital for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Walsh University and the Stark County Paramedic Program. Nadine is intrigued by the parallels of human and veterinarian medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her husband and canine child, Rufus, and spending time with their five grown children. She welcomes the opportunity to educate clients on their pet’s flea, tick, and heartworm prevention options.
Faith has been with our hospital since 2018. She loves continually learning new things and getting to care for animals. Faith also works in human medicine and has been a respiratory therapist for 30 years. At home, she enjoys spending time with her two rescue dogs, a Doberman and Border Collie.
Muenster aka “Toes”
This handsome boy was brought in as a stray by Dr. Cline, and our staff immediately fell in love with him! He’s a polydactyl cat that has extra toes on all of his paws. His front feet, however, have TWO extra toes! He works hard at keeping our staff and clients smiling with his crazy antics and cuddly personality. His favorite hobbies are sleeping at the front desk, eating snacks, shredding paper, and stealing pens.
