Dr. Duane Stewart is an Ohio Licensed veterinarian with 38 years of experience. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1977 from The Ohio State University. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Dr. Stewart’s passion for veterinary medicine started early as he helped his father breed, train and compete with Field Trial Dogs. Through his hobby and prestige of raising and showing top Weimeraners in the country he has developed a rapport with breeders across the country. Because of this love the reproductive services offered here at Fulton Animal Hospital continue to expand yearly.

Dr. Myers got her undergraduate degree from the University of Akron in biology (pre-veterinary medicine) and her DVM degree from the Ohio State University. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Akron-Canal Fulton area for 25 years. She lives in Cuyahoga Falls with her husband and 3 children. They have 4 cats and a turtle. When she is not working, she enjoys watching her kids sporting events and riding roller coasters. She enjoys diagnostics and internal medicine. She loves the blood testing that can be done in house and the ability to get results so fast.
Dr. Snyder grew up in Wooster, OH always surrounded by many pets and animals. She earned her veterinary degree at The Ohio State University after achieving a bachelor of arts degree at Hiram College. While in school, she was co-author on two different published research projects. She now lives on a small farm her and her husband own and manage. Together they breed, raise, and train horses specifically for dressage. Dr. Snyder has a passion for dressage horses and hopes to compete at the highest level of dressage, the Grand Prix with the horses she has bred, raised, and trained. In the clinic, Dr. Snyder is committed to keeping your pets happy and healthy and believes prevention is best. She enjoys working with clients to find the best solution for both the owner and pet, knowing that pets are part of the family as well. One of her favorite tools is the surgical laser because it reduces bleeding, causes less pain, and promotes faster healing for her patients.
Mary Ann graduated from The Ohio State University in 1988 with a Bachelors Degree in Education. Her love of animals and the desire to help others guided her toward the veterinary field. In 2008 she joined the staff at Fulton Animal Hospital and she takes pride in “educating” owners and bringing joy and humor to the front desk. She truly cares about not only our “four footed” patients but their owners as well. She will go above and beyond to help you feel comfortable and educated you as your pets are under our care. Five adorable French Bulldogs have decided to allow Mary Ann and her husband to share their home.
Stephanie was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and always had a passion for the caring of animals. Her love of animals and true compassion is obvious to all who meet her. She completed her education at Northeast Medical Academy in 2007 and luckily for everyone came to work at Fulton Animal Hospital. She continues to research and learn everyday and excels as a surgery tech, as well as assisting our veterinarians in every aspect of your pets care. She lives with her dogs and fiancé.
Corey graduated from the University of Akron in 2014 with an associates degree in criminal justice. He is currently working on his bachelor's degree in Political Science. He grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio and attended Anthony Wayne High School. Corey has always had a love and passion for animals. He was hired in 2009 as a receptionist. Since then, his knowledge of the veterinary field has grown immensely. Corey feels truly lucky to be able to make a positive difference in our client's and patient's lives. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. He shares a home with his girlfriend, three dogs, and all of their cats!
Jessie found her passion working with animals over 5 years ago. She is our newest addition to Fulton Animal Hospital as we were lucky to find her after her move from New Jersey to Ohio in the Fall. She is very experienced and knowledgeable with both our canine and feline friends. Jessie is currently working on her veterinary technician degree at the college of Penn Foster. Her family consists of her fiancé James, her 4 year old daughter Kileigh, and their two cats Ollie and Stretch. When she is not working Jessie loves art, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
April has always had a desire to help people along with a passion for animals. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 2006. Her dogs are a much loved members of her family. Her passion for animals led her to a position as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. She is proud to be a part of our patients healthcare team.
Taylor graduated from Brown Mackie receiving her veterinary technician degree in 2012. Fortunate for us Taylor did her required internship with Fulton Animal Hospital and we hired her before her graduation. Soon after graduation she passed the state licensure making Taylor our first licensed Registered Veterinary Technician. She is a wonderful part of the Fulton Animal Hospital and thoughly enjoys being able to care for animals of all shapes and sizes. She especially loves watching our patients grow up. When not working Taylor enjoys spending time with her son Blake, her Newfoundland Bindi, and bearded dragon Steve.
With a big heart for all fury friends large and small Carrie enjoys the many aspects of working at Fulton Animal Hospital. Whether it’s answering questions over the phone, or helping keep the days busy schedule on track she can be found doing what she loves for over a decade. Everyone knows that when Carrie comes to work Sophie is not far behind. Sophie, her Great Pyrenees pal lives with Carrie and her family. Carrie is native to Canal Fulton where she graduated from Northwest High School. She attended Wayne College and The Ohio State University ATI in Wooster. Her wealth of knowledge is absolutely amazing and is one of Fulton Animal Hospital’s Most Valuable Players.
